EXCIDEUIL / SAINT MEDARD

Excideuil is a little market-town located in North-East Dordogne, 35km from Périgueux, 50 km from Limoges and 60km from Brive. It boasts a medieval castle and it is set in the middle of " Périgord Vert" which offers many hiking and walking possibilities. There are many picturesque villages and cities all around, plenty of castles and caves to visit nearby. There is a cinema and a market every Thursday, local shops and a supermarket. In the summer, quite a few festivals are organised for visitors and locals alike.

DORDOGNE PERIGORD

HOW TO GET THERE

Fly to Limoges or Bergerac with Ryan air and hire a car from the airport, an hour's drive from Limoges, an hour and a quarter from Bergerac.
